Resilient Seated Soft Sealing Sluice Valve

Resilient seated gate valve uses a soft seal disc which is fully encapsulated with high grade rubber. The valve is designed with advance technology for easy operation, no clogging and no corrosion, good resilient memory & long service life. It can be used extensively in all water, waste water, sewage, fire-fighting, water supply system and function as a shut-off valve.

Features:
  • Advance design, less operation torque & abrasion resistance.
  • Body & Cover are made of high grade Ductile Iron.
  • Disc is designed with an abrasion resistant nylon guide that enable a smooth operation, use much less torque force during open/close operation.
  • Forged stem provide stronger stem operation and less moving parts
  • Disc is covered by high-grade rubber that complies to international drinking water.
  • Precision and high-tech rubber over mold process on the wedge ensure strong adhesive and resilient.
  • The 3 O-ring stem seals are designed to prevent from stem leakage and enable replacement of the other 2 O-rings without disassembling the valve from mainline pipes.
  • Both inside & outside are coated with epoxy resin powder to maximize service life.
  • Manufacturing standard meets BS EN 1074, BS 5163.
  • F/F (Face to Face) meets the following standard: BS EN 558-1.
Service Fields:

Water supply, sewage, fire fighting, irrigation, water circulation, heat, cooling system.

Sluice Valve

A complete range of Gate valves for all of your high pressure and high temperature applications, proven over years of service in conventional thermal and nuclear power plants as well as other HP steam services around the world. Also preferred in high pressure, high temperature hydrocarbon or petrochemical processing services. Only SUPER offers the advantages of one-piece forged valves in sizes up to 24" (600 mm).

Non Rising Stem
Sluice Valve

SUPER make Non Rising Stem Sluice Valves widely accepted by Municipal Corporations, Irrigation Authorities, Water Supply Authorities and other Government and Industrial users. These are designed as per latest editions of IS Standard bearing ISI mark. There is no upward movement of the stem in a non-rising stem type. The valve disk is threaded internally. The disc travels along the stem like a nut when the stem is rotated. In this type of valve, stem threads are exposed to the flow medium. Therefore, this design is used where space is limited to allow linear stem movement, and the flow medium does not cause erosion, corrosion, or wear and tear to stem material. This type of valve also known as inside screw valve.

Gate Valve Applications

  • Gate valves are used in almost all fluid services such as air, fuel gas, feed water, steam, lube oil, hydrocarbon, and all most any services.
  • Some special gate valve is used in slurry and powder product also such as knife gate valve

Advantages of Gate Valve

  • Gate valve provides good
  • Pressure drop during operation is very less.
  • Most of the gate valve can be used as bi-directional
  • They are suitable for high pressure and temperature application and required less maintenance.

Disadvantage of
Gate Valve

  • It cannot be used to control the flow.
  • A gate valve is slow in operation. Opening and closing take times which is good also as it reduces the chance of hammering.
  • When partially open it creates vibration and noise.
  • Repairs, such as lapping and grinding of seats are more difficult due to limited access.

Diaphragm Valve

SUPER Diaphragm Valves are designed for water & effluent treatment, desalination plants, power plants, chemicals & process plants, fertilizers and mining. The valves are simple in construction, effective for liquids and gases encountered with corrosion, abrasion, clogging & contamination.

The wide variety of body materials and linings available mean our Diaphragm Valves are designed for use where the process may demand other valves be constructed of exotic and often expensive alloys due to corrosion and erosion. Equally suited to on and off, or flow control applications, a diaphragm valve is designed to handle positive pressures or high vacuum. Due to the wide range of material options it will handle almost all applications within its temperature and pressure ranges (175째C max. and 16 bar max.) and as such is used in almost every industry on both corrosive and abrasive applications. All working parts are isolated from the line media which enhances its reliability. Maintenance is a simple task with the body remaining in the pipe, the valve thus being field serviceable. It has linear flow characteristics which makes it well suited to throttling or modulating duties. On/off and control automation is possible with the use of modern compact actuators and accessories.

Knife Gate Valve

Knife gate valves are designed mainly for on-off and isolation services in systems with high content of suspended solids. The knife gate valves are especially beneficial for handling slurry, viscous, corrosive and abrasive media. The valves have a minimized pressure drop in fully open position, they are easy to actuate, they have a relatively low weight and are cost effective. Knife gate valves are designed to work in some of the most harsh environments, typically having a sharpened blade to cut through heavy liquids. They are especially useful in wastewater applications where corrosion is an important issue. So, in addition to the valve design optimized for slurry media, it is beneficial to have a knife made of acid-proof stainless steel as this makes it less susceptible to damages caused by corrosion and as a consequence it needs less frequent maintenance or even replacement. Knife gate valves should only be used for applications requiring a completely open or completely closed position and should not be used to regulate flow unless they are designed for it. Whenever fluid is forced against a partially closed gate, there will be a vibration, gradually eroding the disc and seat. In addition, the knife gate valves are designed to slowly open and close to safeguard against the impacts of water hammer.
